										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>BATKON Batarya Kontrol Teknolojileri A.Ş. tested 2600 mAh cells in Na+ 26700 sheath supplied by NOCSYS by connecting them to the battery management system called BMSlion.</p>
<p>According to the results shared by Batkon, BMSlion is used not only for Lithium batteries but also for Sodium batteries. In 1C charge and discharge, thermal performance is much better than LFP. On the other hand, in 10C discharge trials, even if there is heating, it seems that 10C discharge can be easily done with a good cooling system. There are not many LFPs that can be discharged at 10C.</p>
<p>İlker AYDIN, co-founder of Batkon Batarya, states that the results are very satisfactory and they expect it to be used in more projects.</p>

<p>The ‘Hall Effect -&gt; Shunt Current Sensor Converter’ invented by Batkon engineers enables the current to be measured up to 10 times more precisely in battery systems or to measure current with the same sensitivity but with up to 10 times less heat generation.</p>
<p>The most important issue today is the ability to measure the current for protection and charge level determination in systems using batteries with precise and low heat generation methods. The invention, which includes a new electronic circuit that provides a significant improvement in this field, has a wide range of applications from electric cars to renewable energy storage systems.</p>

As the national champion, Laska qualified to represent Türkiye at the global final, which will be held in Riyadh between November 5-9, 2024. The company also has beeen awarded with a cash prize of 300,000 TL.</p>
<p>The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) is a program that helps entrepreneurs at all stages, from the idea phase to scaling up, to reach the next level. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Laska Technology, one of the investee companies of ICU Venture, which brings end-of-life vehicle tires back into the economy by eliminating carbon emissions and environmental waste, has been selected for the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA), a global technical assistance program funded by the UK Government, to support climate projects’ access to finance.</p>
<p>CFA operates in nine countries to promote the financing flows needed to achieve countries’ goals of limiting global warming to 1.5°C.</p>
<p>Following the capacity building process, Laska Technology will introduce its project to investors at various programs to be held in Istanbul and London.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>ITU HyperBee Team Supported by Batkon Battery Won 3 Technology Awards<br />
in Europe</strong><br />
The ITU (Istanbul Technical University) HyperBee Team won 3 technology<br />
awards at the European Hyperloop Week held in Zurich from July 15-21, 2024<br />
HyperBee is a project team established within ITU in 2022, participating in<br />
hyperloop competitions and organizations at both national and international<br />
levels.<br />
Batkon Battery, a subsidiary of ICU, supported the design and production of the<br />
&#8220;High Voltage Modular Battery Management System&#8221; for the 500 VDC high<br />
lithium-ion (NMC) battery pack of the vehicle designed and produced by the<br />
HyperBee team. The team first passed the safety tests that lasted for days with<br />
this vehicle. Subsequently, they performed a demonstration and won first place<br />
awards in the fields of Traction, Levitation, and Sense &amp; Control subsystems.<br />
Hyperloop is a train technology proposed by Elon Musk in 2012, aiming to reach<br />
very high speeds of up to 1200 km/h. It aims to maximize speed by minimizing<br />
friction. It plans to reduce ground friction with magnetic levitation and air<br />
friction with vacuum tunnels. Currently, it is being tested by various R&amp;D firms<br />
worldwide. It is expected to have a significant market share in commercial and<br />
public transportation in the future.</p>
